The Key Stage 1 (KS1) information leaflet is for parents / carers with a child in Year 2. End of KS1 national curriculum assessment are optional from 2024, but schools may choose to use them. The leaflet provides an overview of the purpose of the optional tests, how they work and how participating schools may use the results.
