Autumn Term 2025 

Dahl class enjoyed learning how to send and receive with MNR coaching in PE this week.

A real highlight of the week was our trip to the Henley Literary Festival, where we met Andy Day and discovered more about the books he has written. The children enjoyed learning how to draw Dino Dad and listening to Andy read an extract from his story. Everyone was thrilled to take home their very own signed copy of Dino Dad: Mystery of the Missing Egg.  

Dahl Class have really enjoyed designing and making sock puppets.

This week we have been learning about puppets and the children really enjoyed making their own wooden spoon puppets.  We have also been learning about 2D shapes and describing their properties using the vocabulary; straight/curved sides and vertices (not corners). We made our own 2D shapes using craft sticks and blu tac.
