Spring Term 2025
The children have been learning about digital footprints and coding.
The children really enjoyed a visit from Steve Frew, British artistic gymnast and gold medalist at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Children took turns in completing a fun exercise circuit and then delighted in seeing Steve back flip, balance and leap over some (not so relaxed) volunteers during an assembly.
The children have been learning about coordinates and had an opportunity to play a game of battleships. Team Mrs Woolfson with a group of children against Team Mrs Galloway with a group of children. Team Mrs Woolfson won the game by sinking two ships in the time given.
For Children's Mental Health week we had a lovely afternoon relaxing, meditating exercising and doing something enjoyable like chalking outside or reading.
The children in Murphy class enjoyed rhyming games and came up with an excellent list of rhyming words!
We have been using Flex it and painting
We are learning about Place Value in Maths lessons and the children enjoy practical tasks to explore different representations of numbers to 20.
The children have been enjoying Forest School.
