Spring Term 2025
During the last few weeks of term we have been continuing our basketball and gymnastic skills in PE. In LMTW we have been learning about different causes for war, and had a think about different conflicts and how we might resolve them. We also had a special visitor from Steve Frew, a Commonwealth gymnast.
We have been presenting information about hurricanes, cyclones and tornadoes in Learning Means the World. In PE we have been working on our core muscles and how to move into and out of inverted movements with control.
We have had a debate about what causes more damage, droughts or floods. The children got into two groups and each group had to research, then present and argue their case to the class. We also continued our gymnastics skills in PE.
PC Michael Dix from Thames Valley Police came to talk to Years 5 and 6 about the law and how the police deal with reports of bullying, misuse of social media and anti-social behaviour.
